Repeated Destruction, For a Community Still Trying to Recover

In the aftermath of tropical storm Imelda, the ranching and farming communities, who have yet to recover from Hurricane Harvey, survey the damage to their land and livestock. The community was struggling to come back from the flooding two years previously and are now living through a repeat of catastrophic flooding north of I-10 in Chambers County. The water had been dammed by the median barrier of the highway, transforming ranch land into lakes that can only be traversed by boat as ranchers lead rescue efforts for livestock and to view their lost homes.
